I have nearly finished the view from my very small window. I’m afraid its the only view I have at the moment as the whole house is covered with scaffolding, although not for much longer.
I’m lucky to have a partial view of the church which is always nice to look at. This is on cardboard and in oils. I have just got to wait for the vase to dry and then add a few touches to that but otherwise probably finished. Just can’t decide whether to add the black lead work to the pane of glass or not but J think it might make a fairly simplistic painting too complicated?
The chosen theme for January 2021 for members was - "A View from my Window". and these include artists' comments on their work. There's a new theme each month during the Covid virus lockdowns.
